A test day in Tarkwa hard rock mine. Mixed results and a very valuable learning experience.
A Ghanaian Board of Standards member, a Water Resources Council member (not sure of accurate names) and a mining engineer from University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa were at the mine and will accompany us for testing tomorrow as well.
Everyone is interested in the technology and we’re learning a lot.
Mercury is used everywhere and citizens, miners and the government are all eager to find alternative solutions.
